Are you skilled in finance and administration, with a passion for supporting community wellbeing? Active Southland is seeking a Finance and Funding Administrator to provide essential cover while our team member is on maternity leave. This is a 9-month position, with full-time or part-time options, based in Invercargill.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Finance Manager, handling key tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, GST preparation, funding applications, and financial reporting. You’ll also contribute to flagship events like the Moonshine Trail and Surf to City, ensuring their success.
We’re looking for someone with:
- + Intermediate accounting knowledge, including GST and Xero expertise.
- + Advanced Excel skills and a systematic, detail-oriented approach.
- + Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
